First Time Voters Education, May 2007 - on going
The purpose of the project is to target students in degree colleges and universities and out of school youth in order to build their interest around elections and provide them information on democracy, voters’ registration and voting procedure in Lahore and Kasur districts in collaboration with the Asia Foundation.
Under the project, 100 teachers have been trained who are educating their students. Inter- colleges debates competition has been held and broadcasted on the radio. Community meetings were held for out of the school youth. Presently teachers are educating the students of their respective colleges.
