MASS MEDIA CAMPAIGN FOR WOMEN'S POLITICAL EMPOWERMENT (DFID) 2000-2001
CCHD's “Mass Media Campaign for Women's Political Empowerment” project was funded by DFID (Department for International Development), in September 2000 and it was launched in October 2000. The overall goal of the project was promotion of women's equal status in society.
The project duration was nine months and it included six-issue sensitization workshop for media personnel's of Karachi , Hyderabad , Lahore , Quetta , Peshawar and Islamabad , alongwith insertions in Television programmes and production of a 13-episode drama serial.
