Networking and Linkages
CCHD believes in partnership with civil society organizations, groups and concerned individuals. The following networks have been formed with the purpose of maintaining regular partnership with stakeholders.
Democratic Education Advisory Group
CCHD has established an advisory group of concerned citizens having expertise in political education and likewise programs. The purpose is to brainstorm political programmes of CCHD.
Network of Electoral Partner (NEP)
The network has 400 NGOs as its members from all over Pakistan. NEP was established by the Election
Commission of Pakistan and UNDEP in 2007. CCHD holds both its national and provincial chair of Punjab.
Citizens' Network on Good Governance (CNGG)
NGOs, trade unions, teachers unions, local bodies elected representatives, political activists, etc has formed a national network for good governance. It consists of more than 150 NGOs from all over Pakistan.
Media Network
It consists of regional media, electronic media, and women journalists to promote rights of the people, particularly of women political empowerment. The network is functional in 28 district of Pakistan.
United Front of Women in Politics
In seven districts of Punjab and five districts of NWFP, CCHD has formed united platform of women political activists belonging to various political parties to address their common issues. The main objective of forming these platforms is to unite women political activists and supporters of political women in a joint struggle on women issues.
Core Group of Women in Politics in Six Districts of Punjab
20 members from each district as a coordinating body to facilitate women political education in their respective districts.
Network of 228 Non-formal Teacher
CCHD is running 228 NFBE home schools in rural area of Lahore, Kasur and Islamabad. A network of 228 NFBE school teachers has been established in these areas.
Development Education Network
50 trained women in development education from Katchi Abadiees of Lahore and villages of Kasur.
Lahore Core Group of Women in Politics
55 trained women in basic local governance and political issues. They are members of political parties.
